The new vintage of Stephane Guion's wines have arrived

The two natural Cabernet Franc reds produced by Stephane Guion have arrived. These wines sell for $21 and $23 and are some of the best value wines to come out of France in ages. They are organic, natural and delicious! Click on the Stephane Guion link to read more about these wines.

May 2010 newsletter available

March and April seemed to zip by and we didn't get a newsletter out! We have been very busy with filling orders from all round the country. Many lines have sold out and we have received two extra shipments since the last newsletter. So the May newsletter will fill you in on what is happening and tell you about some new suppliers that we have lined up for you. There are also some very good bargains as we have two more large shipments (one on the water and one being arranged) which we need room for.

More new suppliers

The Chablis and Bourgogne wines from Alice and Olivier de Moor and the Pommards, Beaunes, Savignys and Bourgognes from Fanny Sabre have proved very, very popular. In fact, most of the shipment sold out within days of it arriving. We will be bringing more in but need to wait until they have bottled the next vintage (this is happening now). There are a few bottles available as you can see in the newsletter.

For those of you who live in Sydney you can always drop into the Bentley Restaurant in Surry Hills to try the de Moor Chablis. If you live in South Australia then you are lucky to have the Fall From Grace wine bar in the McLaren Vale where Gill stocks both the de Moor wines and the Fanny Sabre wines among others.

Due to the popularity of these impressive natural wines from Burgundy, we have sourced two new suppliers from this area to provide you with an even greater range of these delicious, natural wines.

And another one

As we went to press with the May newsletter we received an email from Patrice and Virginie Lascarret from Domaine de Causse Marines confirming that they are happy to make their wines available in Australia. We have placed the order and expect them to arrive in early August. These Gaillac treasures crafted from very rare grapes are highly sought after. More information in the June newsletter.

Domaine Mosse at NOMA

We have been great supporters of the wines of Domaine Mosse from the Anjou appellation in the Loire Valley. Obviously many of you are as well since they sell so quickly. Their wines crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are beautiful examples of Loire reds.

We were delighted recently to see that NOMA in Denmark, just named as number 1 restaurant in the world by Restaurant Magazine, is pouring the Mosse Anjou Rouge as part of their matched wine degustation.
